Chief Credit Officer

   Jim Wright

      Debbie Seaman

Mike joined our team in February 2006, bringing a stellar 23-year banking career serving the Napa community.  His previous community banking experience includes Napa Valley Bank, Napa National Bank, The Vintage Bank and The Mechanics Bank.

A lifelong Napa resident, Mike has been involved in many community efforts in the Napa Valley and is the most recent Past-President of the Napa Sunrise Rotary Club.

Jim is a Napa Valley native and has lived in St. Helena since 1987. Jim leverages his 25 years of St. Helena banking experience to provide the financial guidance and consistent support his customers have come to depend upon.

Jim decided to join Charter Oak Bank because he enjoys being part of a community bank environment and believes that a locally-owned bank understands its customers and the local business environment, and offers more responsive decision making. Jim is actively involved in several community groups in St.  Helena.

With over 20 years of banking experience, Debbie is one of the founding members of the Charter Oak Bank management team. Having previously opened two community banks, Debbie’s knowledge of Information Technology, Compliance, and overall Bank Operations was a critical aspect of the opening of Charter Oak Bank in December 2004.  Debbie is the backbone of bank operations.

Although Debbie’s career began with a regional bank, her passions soon turned towards the customer service and family feel of community banking. A firm believer in giving back to the community, Debbie is currently Vice-Chairperson of the board for Birthright of Napa.

John Prescott
Vice President
Senior Relationship Officer

Trent Stoppello
Assistant Vice President
Relationship Officer

John brings over 30 years banking experience and provides the financial guidance and consistent service our customers have come to recognize.  His specialty is in commercial real estate loans.

Typical for a community banker, John takes community involvement to new levels. He has been actively involved in several community groups over the years and is presently Chair of Community Resources for Children, the child care resource and referral agency for the Napa Valley. He is also on the Board and CFO of Sustainable Napa County and has been appointed to the City of Napa’s new Napa Green Building Task Force.

Another native, Trent Stoppello was born and raised in Napa and has been in banking since 2002. He began his banking career as a teller and currently helps clients with loan requests. Trent finds community banking very gratifying because it supports the local businesses in the area. He recognizes that Napa is unique, and is proud that the community is very supportive of one another.

He is the current Board President of Family Service of Napa Valley, and a member of the Napa Active 20/30 Club and the Napa Business Network.
